Dear friends, the farmer’s market will be happening this Saturday at Náplavka!

But, to follow the government guidelines, the market will be only on one side, along the wall, the stands are further apart from each other, and there will not be ani coffee or refreshments, not even to go in containers. These guidelines have been in place since last December and they will continue to be in place.

From this Saturday, three more supervised entrances/exits. The first one will be under the turn from Palackého square, the second will be under the clock at Výtoň, and the third will be under the turn to the railway bridge. There will be staff at the entrance and we ask you to please follow their instructions. People with no respirators, or with food or drink will not be let into the market. People can also be stopped from coming in if the market is too full. Other entrances and stairs will be taped off.

The farmer’s market will therefore be ideal for a quick shopping trip. We hope that once the pandemic is over and there are no more safety guidelines, the market can go back to being a meeting place and a place to go for a walk.

If you are a cyclist, runner, someone going on a walk etc. and want to spend time at the riverside, we ask you to walk on the upper pavement, where there is a dedicated cycling trail. You can go up and down before the entrances and exits to the market. There will be a corridor for passers-by near the river, but that will be only open for people who are walking, not cycling.
If you are planning to visit the market, try to be quick with your shopping. Please follow the instructions of staff, keep a safe distance from other people, wear a respirator, and disinfect your hands.
