Your farmers will still have plenty of vegetables, fruit and fresh baked goods. As winter continues, the market will start getting smaller. If temperatures will be below the freezing point, it is impossible to sell certain types of vegetables without lowering their quality. It also gets darker earlier, which is why the opening times have been shortened in the afternoons.
But there is some good news! On Thursday, November 11 at 11:11 am, you will be able to taste this year’s St. Martin’s Day wine from Winery Bukovský.
On Saturday, November 13, you will be able to enjoy the St. Martin’s Day Celebrations and Roast Goose festival. This will be the 10th annual festival.
You can look forward to Goose soup, with giblets and liver dumplings, goose leg, with red cabbage and dumpling, and goose liver with onion and apples, served with some sourdough bread. There will also be Winery Hruška from Blatnička, Winery Vajbar from Rakvice, an Winery Maňák from Žádovice.
To add to the atmosphere, there will be live music from Timpani Vonička, and after lunch, swing and jazz will be played.
