Tuesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 24 – strawberries and cherries at Kubáň

The summer fruit season is finally starting! The sun has finished ripening cherries and apricots are almost there as well. We also have a new product – pita bread from a small bakery, which will be available for the first time on Tuesday. It does not contain milk or eggs, so ideal for vegans too. To go with it, make sure to get some great hummus or aubergine spread.

On Thursday, try fish from Fish Garden. They grow up at an aquaponic farm, in flowing clear water, with plenty of food. Their meat does not smell of fish or mud. Water is ecologically cleaned and used to water herbs and lettuce. Try some carp, catfish, or trout!

WARNING! In warm summer temperatures, it is impossible to keep vegetables fresh throughout the whole day. That is why fruits and vegetables will only be sold to about 16:00. It is also possible that cars with meat and poultry products will leave early. This is because it is impossible for the fridges to keep up with temperatures around 30°C. Sellers are given high fines if the temperature of their products is even half a degree above the required temperatures. Also, meat could spoil and we always want to provide you with the freshest products!
