It is the first March market at Náplavka and 3 vegetable farms are coming back. Leek, cabbage, celery, parsley, brussels sprouts, garlic, onions, pumpkin, potatoes… Květuška’s garden is also back with her wild garlic pesto and toast for the first time this year. You can also buy chicken, trout, or free-range eggs. The weather might be nice, so prepare for a spring barbecue by adding some meat to your shopping list. Celý příspěvek

There will be a newbie at the market this Saturday – Goat farm Horní pole, who will bring fresh goat cheeses, kefir, cheeses in a salty infusion, gouda and cheddar-like cow cheeses. You can also treat yourself with some potted primroses and pansies from Mr. Tomek, who will come to Náplavka for the first time this year. Later on in the year, he will also bring vegetables. Come to our pig-slaughtering fest before lent. On Saturday, February 15, there will be a pig-slaughtering festival, lead by butcher Mr. Kvarda, who will prepare a cooked pig’s head, soup, tripe sausage, blood sausage, goulash, greaves and brawn.
