August 24 is the last summer holiday farmer’s market at Heřmaňák. Come and get some croissants from French bakery LaBrioche, and get some great vitamin bombs from Ovocko fresh juices.

Careful, there will be some sellers on vacation during August:

– Bio Farm Babiny is off for the whole of August

– Farm Převýšov is off in August as well, but will be back on August 24

– Butcher’s Kvardových will be off on August 24, but will otherwise be at the market during August

– Hanka and her Ukrainian cuisine will have two weekends off with her daughter, and will be back on September 7

– Černík’s Fresh Juices is off and will be back September 7.

 

Heřmaňák is a smaller, more cosy farmer’s market with a great range of fresh vegetables, fruit, baked goods, meat, free-range eggs, organic beef and chicken, Czech flowers and floral decorations, great desserts, sometimes craftsmen and artists, as well as dog and rodent treats and food.
