Where and when to buy poultry or rabbit at the Farmer’s Market? Free parking on Riverbank and free reservation of geese and ducks from Vysočina. Every Saturday starting 10 September.
Poultry from a free-range poultry farm for those hard to please (for instance chickens cost around CZK 115 per kilogram), every market day available: so-called spring chickens (weight around 0.75 kilograms), ordinary chickens (approx. 1.8 kilograms), ducks, hens and geese. From time to time available during autumn: roosters (capons) and pheasant hens. [more]

It’s our plesure to announce STRAWBERY CONTEST, which will be very easy for you. Those ones that will arrive this Saturday 11th of June 2011 to market "Kubáň" (Kubánské náměstí, Praha 10) or next Saturday 18th of June 2011 to "Jiřák" (náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad, Praha 3) and will be dressed in red color similar to strawberry is going to get a lovely present from us! WE HAD A VERY MARRY EASTER WITH PRAGUE 10 AT OUR MARKET KUBÁŇ
On Saturday 23rd of April Easter Farmer’s market Kubáň was very happy to satisfy both children and adults thanks to the gifts from Municipal Part of Praha 10. The market has livened up with bagpipers, violin players from Southern Bohemia and also some rock and roll legend songs. The man-visitors were especially interested in pleating „Easter canes“! They were pleating happily, looking forward to introduce them to their wives. [more]
Except the white one, the first green asparagus from Mělník will arrive at all markets Kubáň, Jiřák and Náplavka on Saturday.
From Saturday 30th of April there will be both the white asparagus and the fresh green one! Where? At all markets Náplavka, Jiřák, Kubáň from 8.00 a.m. to the sold out(probably until 2.00 p.m.). Both will be also available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at Kubáň. On Wednesday and Saturday also at Jiřák. The green asparagus has a few advantages – it doesn’t need to be peeled as much, contains more vitamin C and chlorophyll. More people do prefer the white asparagus anyway...After all – taste it and compare it yourselves. [more]
